FIST- Students International Theatre Festival

For the third time, under the protection of Faculty of Dramatic Arts, it’s accomplishing the idea of students from department of management and production in theatre, radio and culture - Students International Theatre Festival. The fascination of exploring, desire for presentation and active discovery trough international communication were the main objectives in preparing FIST. Respecting the differences in thinking and understanding, our desire is to continue with showing different kind of approaches in creating art peaces trough theatre, but to protect and preserve those differences. We have succeeded it together with our colleagues from other departments: dramaturgy, theatre and radio directing, film and TV directing, camera, editing, sound design, film and TV producing and colleagues from Faculty of Art, Faculty of Applied Arts, and Faculty of Music Arts.

Fifth Short Film Festival, Mostar, Bosnia and Hercegovina
Festival of short movies in Mostar (10. – 14. july). Deadline for applying 30. april 2007. This festival is very interested in video production of the artists from Countries of the West Balkan.

Warsaw Alternative Films Festival, Warsaw, Poland
We are looking for films that show activity, life, experience, places, which grow up beside main stream of the city life, in the social, cultural and topographic aspect. By showing that films we want to give an inspiration and to activate audience of the festival to look for their own way of living.In the first edition of the festival, we had a lot of films about happenings, street art and documents about people in Warsaw. Now we want to see what is happening in other cities.We are interested in alternative city life. The date of festival is 20 October 2007, Warsaw, Poland.
Regarding the entrance of the video features
- we wait for the films till 30 September
- film should be no longer than 30 minutes
- films should be made by unprofessional film maker, or by independent film maker
- we accept animated cartoons, documentary films, feature films
- films from abroad will be present besides the competition.
